Lighting

Figuring out how to hold on the EL wire was super hard. We eventually settled on using E6000, and it did hold during the race.
Fish Construction
the insulation foam fish core
At the heart, the fish is built from multiple layers of 1” insulation foam spray glued together. Then it is all wrapped in the duct-tape to prevent aero-loads from causing foam disintegration. Then at the bottom we have a sandwhich of 3mm plywood and aluminum angle, which allows 6mm threaded rod to clamp everything together.
Lessons
- Don’t place numbers directly on hinges/door edges. This will make tracing it with lights very hard / not work at all lol.
